A telehealth-focused organization is hiring a remote Data Analyst II to take ownership of analytics for one or more business domains such as customer success, operations, or patient support. The role centers on converting open-ended business questions into structured analyses and stakeholder-ready recommendations that improve virtual care delivery and platform performance. It suits an independent analyst who can run their own workstreams with minimal oversight and partner directly across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytics end-to-end for assigned business areas, from problem framing through final recommendation delivery. - Translate ambiguous stakeholder questions into clearly scoped analytical projects with limited direction on approach. - Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources while preserving integrity. - Apply statistical techniques and tools such as Excel, R, or Python to surface trends, anomalies, and patterns in health-related data. - Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and visualizations that inform day-to-day decisions. - Collaborate with finance, operations, and customer success teams to shape data needs and influence outcomes with findings. - Proactively identify and drive improvements to data collection and analysis workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. - Three to five years of experience in a data analyst or comparable role. - Demonstrated hands-on SQL proficiency, including the ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries independently. - Working knowledge of Excel plus a data visualization platform such as Tableau or Power BI. - Track record of operating independently through ambiguity and managing competing priorities without close oversight. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into stakeholder-ready recommendations.
