Manager, Business Analytics

Role overview This Manager, Business Analytics position is a highly technical individual contributor role embedded within a Sales Operations & Business Analytics Center of Excellence. The role functions as a strategic analytics partner across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and adjacent business groups, applying advanced analytics, statistical modeling, data science, and automation to strengthen operational performance, revenue realization, and decision quality. The successful candidate blends deep technical expertise with sharp business acumen, translating complex data into actionable insight that shapes leadership choices and produces measurable outcomes at the intersection of analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, and operational strategy.

Responsibilities - Act as the lead analytics partner supporting Commercial, Finance, Operations, and related organizational teams. - Serve as a thought partner to operational and commercial leadership, prioritizing analytical investments, defining success metrics, and quantifying business outcomes. - Design, build, and maintain scalable analytical solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, and modern cloud-based data platforms. - Conduct statistical analysis, forecasting, segmentation, hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and exploratory data analysis to inform planning and operational decisions. - Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and Master Data Management counterparts to define data requirements, improve quality, and enhance enterprise data architecture. - Build and maintain semantic data models, reusable datasets, KPI frameworks, and standardized metrics aligned with governance standards. - Apply AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics techniques to sharpen forecasting, automate decision support, and surface new business insights.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related quantitative field. - Six to eight or more years of experience in advanced analytics, business intelligence, data science, revenue analytics, or a comparable technical role. - Expert-level SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimization, and dimensional data modeling. - Strong Python programming, with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, StatsModels, and Scikit-Learn. - Solid grasp of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT, data governance, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse. - Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools, including dashboard development and performance optimization. - Ability to translate large, complex datasets into clear narratives, insights, and recommendations, and to navigate ambiguous problems in a fast-paced setting.

Nice to have - Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, generative AI applications, workflow automation platforms, and emerging analytics technologies. - Experience partnering with executive stakeholders to influence strategic decisions through data-driven insight. - Background in diagnostics, laboratory services, healthcare, or a similarly regulated industry.

Benefits and work setup - Remote position. - Base pay range of $130,000–$145,000 USD, with potential additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units as part of a broader total compensation package. - Final compensation varies with experience, skill set, location, industry, and education.
