About this role
Role overview Shape how a healthcare organization uses data to guide executive decisions, operational performance, compliance, and patient outcomes. This senior individual-contributor position combines strategic analytics and stakeholder partnership with frequent, hands-on SQL development: the work includes integrating and structuring data from multiple sources, building reusable reporting foundations, and explaining findings clearly.
Responsibilities - Partner with executive leaders to set analytics priorities and build long-term KPI frameworks for patient outcomes, provider performance, compliance, and operational scale. - Use SQL regularly to clean, organize, integrate, and analyze data, assessing data quality and surfacing trends in engagement, performance, and care quality. - Establish consistent data definitions, reporting structures, and metric calculations across teams. - Identify accuracy, audit-readiness, and healthcare reporting risks, and support reporting for quality, operations, and compliance initiatives. - Develop forecasts or predictive models and create reusable data models for enterprise reporting. - Turn ambiguous requests into structured analysis, advise teams across functions, and present complex findings to senior stakeholders.
Requirements - Advanced SQL development skills and experience working directly with data from multiple sources. - Strong experience with Python or R and advanced use of business intelligence or visualization tools. - Understanding of healthcare operations, compliance considerations, and regulatory reporting. - Ability to work independently in ambiguous, high-stakes settings and influence executive stakeholders. - Clear communication skills: translate technical concepts, structure unclear requests, and deliver executive presentations. - Comfort handling urgent, high-visibility requests while balancing technical depth with effective collaboration.
Nice to have - Experience supporting multi-state healthcare operations or working in a regulated environment, including familiarity with HIPAA. - Background in board-level reporting, investor analytics, or KPI frameworks focused on patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
