Netsuite Engineer

Role overview Build on an existing NetSuite environment by connecting it with business systems and developing the financial workflows, reporting, and cost structures needed for reliable decisions. This hands-on role works closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and Operations, with ownership of integrations, financial accuracy, and ongoing platform improvements.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain NetSuite customizations, workflows, automations, and reports that improve financial data quality and month-end close. - Design and support integrations with CRM, HR, billing, procurement, banking, and data warehouse systems; monitor data flows and manage errors, retries, and reconciliation. - Partner with Accounting on general ledger processes, revenue recognition, subsidiary consolidation, intercompany transactions, and close automation. - Work with FP&A to structure cost centers, compare actuals with forecasts, and support scenario and long-range planning. - Apply documented change controls, develop in a sandbox, and maintain roles, permissions, and segregation of duties for audit requirements. - Translate business needs into scalable designs, manage platform upgrades, retire outdated customizations, and identify opportunities to reduce manual work.

Requirements - At least four years of hands-on NetSuite development and administration. - Experience building and supporting NetSuite integrations with Salesforce and HubSpot. - Strong understanding of finance processes, including the general ledger, revenue recognition, multi-subsidiary consolidation, and close. - Experience with formal change management and SOX/ITGC controls, including roles and segregation of duties.

Nice to have - Experience integrating an HRIS such as Rippling or Workday to allocate salary costs to cost centers. - Familiarity with iPaaS or other modern integration tools. - Background in FP&A, budgeting, or forecasting. - Experience applying automation or AI to reduce manual finance work.
