Senior iOS Engineer

Role overview A consumer mobile team focused on digital wellbeing is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to ship product surfaces that millions of people use every day. The role spans end-to-end feature ownership on a flagship iOS app, with direct collaboration alongside design and product in a small, flat team. It is scoped to grow into technical leadership.

Responsibilities - Design, build and ship new features and interactions across the iOS app, from concept through release - Contribute original product ideas, not just execute specifications handed down from others - Plan and analyse A/B experiments, then act on what the metrics reveal - Improve development workflows, internal tooling, and the team's working practices with AI assistance - Partner directly with designers and product managers in a collaborative, low-process structure - Engage with users and stay close to how real customers experience the app

Requirements - 5+ years building production iOS applications, with at least one app currently live in the App Store that you can point to - Deep, hands-on expertise across Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit and Combine, and comfort navigating the wider iOS toolchain - A sharp eye for craft and detail, with work that reflects a high polish bar - Established personal workflows for working with AI, which you actively refine and share with teammates - Background at an early-stage or fast-growing startup where you owned outcomes beyond a narrow job description - Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for resolving open questions yourself rather than waiting for direction

Nice to have - Experience with macOS, watchOS, WidgetKit or other Apple frameworks - Familiarity with training or fine-tuning machine learning models - Hands-on A/B testing and product analytics experience - Personal side projects published in the App Store, built out of genuine interest - Working proficiency in French
