Senior iOS Engineer (Swift & AWS)

Role overview A senior iOS engineering position is open on a cloud-native team that builds customer-facing mobile applications and digital experiences. The role blends deep native iOS development with AWS cloud work, modern app architecture, CI/CD, testing, and direct collaboration with customer engineering teams. It is a hands-on consulting-style role partnering with engineers, architects, engineering managers, and project managers to deliver complex mobile initiatives for international clients.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain production-grade native iOS applications using Swift and current development practices. - Partner with architects and engineering managers to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions grounded in sound application architecture and design patterns. - Integrate mobile apps with APIs, cloud services, SDKs, and third-party platforms, including work on tracking, attribution, deep linking, and customer journey features. - Write production-ready, well-tested, documented code and contribute to automated test suites for mobile delivery. - Build and sustain CI/CD pipelines and work with AWS services and cloud-native architectures that back the mobile applications. - Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production, participate in code reviews, and engage in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos. - Communicate technical decisions, progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to customer engineering teams and internal stakeholders.

Requirements - Significant professional experience developing production native iOS applications with strong hands-on Swift skills. - Solid grasp of iOS application architecture, design patterns, application lifecycle, and API or service integrations. - Proven experience designing, building, testing, and supporting production mobile apps end to end. - Strong background working in AWS cloud environments and integrating native apps with cloud-based backend systems. - Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery, plus solid testing and automation practices. - Background working in Agile environments with strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs.

Nice to have - Objective-C experience, especially for supporting or modernizing legacy iOS codebases. - Familiarity with mobile attribution and analytics tools such as Firebase, AppsFlyer, or similar platforms, plus CDP or customer-data integrations. - Experience implementing deep linking, integrating third-party SDKs, or working on marketing-technology and conversion-related mobile initiatives. - Exposure to modern web or application stacks like React, Node.js, TypeScript, or Python. - Curiosity about generative AI technologies and some UI/UX experience.
