Senior AI Engineer
Job details
About this role
Role overview A senior full-stack engineering role on a small product squad building integration products and the systems behind them for external partner platforms. The team operates in an AI-first mode where the large majority of code is generated with agentic tools, and senior engineers are expected to drive review, verification, and adoption practices rather than raw output. The work covers partner-facing products, wallet flows, certified game systems, and platform architecture on AWS.
Responsibilities - Deliver end-to-end functionality across a TypeScript and React front end and a Golang backend. - Build the products that partners integrate into their own platforms. - Develop the wallet system and surrounding flows where correctness is the priority. - Build and operate game systems that must run inside a certified, audited environment. - Design and ship APIs using GraphQL, gRPC, and REST for first-party front ends and partner integrations. - Help shape the architecture of a young platform hosted on AWS. - Share knowledge and support teammates through code reviews and other mentoring practices. - Work onsite from Prague or fully remotely within European time zones.
Requirements - Daily experience shipping production code with AI tooling such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or comparable agents, with a clear point of view on what was built this way. - Genuine interest in pushing AI adoption across a team rather than testing it. - At least five years of experience building production software, with depth on one side of the stack and solid competence on the other. - Strong TypeScript and React skills or strong Golang skills; engineers strong in Java, Kotlin, or C# who want to learn Golang are also welcome. - Solid grasp of event-driven distributed systems and concurrency. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB. - Familiarity with API design patterns such as GraphQL or gRPC. - Experience running services on AWS, Azure, or GCP, and a pragmatic view of testing.
Nice to have - Experience building front-end components that ship inside third-party products such as widgets or SDKs. - Background with real-money systems. - Familiarity with Kafka, Terraform, or Docker.
