Mid-Level Node.js Engineer

Role overview Build and maintain backend services for a cloud software product focused on security and compliance workflows. You’ll develop scalable APIs, connect external services—including Microsoft 365—and work with product and frontend colleagues to deliver features and support reliable operations.

Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services in Node.js. - Design secure, scalable REST APIs and third-party integrations. - Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver product features. - Write clear, maintainable, documented code. - Investigate production issues and help resolve defects. - Support automation workflows for security-related tasks.

Requirements - At least 3 years of backend development experience with Node.js. - Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and REST APIs. - Experience with a database such as DynamoDB or PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows. - Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a remote team.

Nice to have - TypeScript, AWS, or AWS CDK experience. - Angular or other frontend development experience. - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 APIs, or cloud and SaaS security practices.
