Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and leading data platform, data engineering, Data Science, ML, or AI capabilities in high-growth technology environments - Demonstrated experience architecting modern data platforms and production data systems - Track record of taking ML or AI solutions from experimentation into production to solve real product or business problems - Prior background as a strong individual contributor before moving into leadership, with hands-on technical depth - Experience partnering closely with Product teams to scope and deliver technically sophisticated capabilities - Strong judgment on build-versus-buy and the ability to assess rapidly evolving AI technologies pragmatically
Nice to have
- Experience diagnosing organizational capability gaps and recruiting senior, specialized technical talent - Comfort operating in a small, fast-moving organization where senior leaders remain close to execution
