Senior Solutions Engineer - East

Role overview Guide prospective and existing customers through the technical evaluation of a cybersecurity solution, helping them understand how it addresses their SaaS and cloud security needs. Partner closely with sales while serving as a customer advocate to product and engineering teams. The role also contributes to team growth and technical engagement across the eastern United States.

Responsibilities - Deliver technical presentations that explain solution capabilities to prospective and existing customers. - Work with customers and internal teams to assess security requirements and connect them to relevant capabilities. - Lead proof-of-value evaluations and technical engagements that demonstrate whether a solution meets customer needs. - Share market and customer insights with product management and engineering through field research and feedback. - Advise sales teams on technical questions and act as a subject matter resource on SaaS security. - Help mentor and build the regional technical team, and represent the organization in partner discussions and industry presentations.

Requirements - Strong combination of customer communication skills and hands-on technical ability. - Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, particularly cloud and SaaS security challenges. - Experience working with APIs, integrations, and middleware. - Ability to assess security solutions and explain how they fit alongside or compete with other tools. - Skill in preparing and delivering presentations, including thought leadership at conferences or webinars. - Willingness to travel based on customer needs.

Benefits and work setup This is a fully remote role, with preference for candidates in the US Northeast. The listed base salary range is $134,000–$197,000; the role may also include equity and sales incentives.
