Staff Solutions Engineer

Role overview A pre-seed startup building trust infrastructure for autonomous AI agents is hiring a Staff Solutions Engineer to join as a founding member of the team. The role bridges an active open-source community and a growing base of enterprise design partners, with a focus on agent security topics such as execution boundaries, immutable attestation, and dynamic capability management. The position starts out deeply technical and hands-on in the codebase, then evolves toward solutions architecture and customer-facing engagement as domain expertise develops.

Responsibilities - Contribute directly to an open-source agent security project through code, documentation, and architectural proposals - Experiment with deployment architectures across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, and publish findings via blog posts or video channels - Partner with early design partners to integrate the platform into proof-of-concept and pilot programmes, translating feedback into engineering priorities - Support pre-sales and post-sales engineering conversations with tier-1 enterprise organisations - Produce technical content such as architecture guides, demos, and tutorials that help users and customers get the most out of the platform

Requirements - Hands-on AI engineering experience, including how modern AI and ML workloads are built, deployed, and orchestrated - Strong software engineering background with confidence reviewing pull requests, triaging issues, and shaping system architecture - Familiarity with AI agent security challenges such as prompt injection, tool misuse, data exfiltration, and lateral movement - Previous experience in a solutions engineering or field engineering role at a startup or open-source company - A track record of contributing to open-source projects, writing technical blog posts, or shipping other public technical work
