Role overview A data engineering role focused on building and scaling robust data solutions that support critical business needs. The position develops high-performance pipelines, enables reliable data transformation, and delivers production-ready systems, owning solutions from concept through production. The work spans extraction, loading, transformation, and orchestration, with an emphasis on modern software engineering practices and cloud-native deployment.
Responsibilities - Build, scale, and maintain robust data solutions across the platform. - Implement and optimize high-performance data pipelines (extraction, loading, transformation, and orchestration) designed for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and speed. - Champion modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and cloud-native deployments. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate use cases into production-ready services and solutions, owning the system from concept to production. - Implement rigorous testing and monitoring practices to maintain high data quality and integrity.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field; concentration in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering-related field preferred. - 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related discipline, with a proven track record of success. - Expertise in Python and SQL, with a strong foundation in data manipulation and analysis. - Proficiency with Databricks/PySpark and dbt for data warehousing and transformation tasks. - Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster. - Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex data systems from the ground up, including large-scale data cleaning, ETL, and information retrieval. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have - Experience working with large language models, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and vector databases. - Knowledge of fundamental machine learning principles, feature engineering, and knowledge graphs.
