Role overview
An internship where you will contribute to real machine learning and software engineering work across the ML lifecycle rather than toy problems. Depending on your background, you may focus on data processing, model development, or supporting deployment workflows. It is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership of well-scoped tasks while learning alongside experienced practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models - Work with data pipelines, run experiments, and iterate on models - Help integrate ML models into larger software systems - Take ownership of well-defined tasks and drive them to completion - Document work and share learnings with the team
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recently completed a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field - Solid Python fundamentals - Understanding of core ML concepts including classification, regression, and model evaluation - Familiarity with generative AI concepts such as Hugging Face Transformers or similar APIs - Motivation to work independently on defined tasks - Fluent English; German is a plus
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience building ML models outside of coursework - Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
