Role overview This senior engineering position focuses on designing and delivering integration projects that connect enterprise systems using MuleSoft and adjacent platforms. The role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership, guiding delivery teams through multi-phase implementations and shaping standards for development, governance, and the operational life cycle. It is well suited for an integration specialist who enjoys mentoring peers and influencing architecture decisions across customer engagements.
Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions built on MuleSoft, applying best practices for APIs, proxies, and gateway management - Develop, secure, and manage APIs that connect systems such as Salesforce, SAP, databases, and file-based endpoints - Provide hands-on delivery guidance across multi-phased projects, influencing standards for development, deployment, and operational support - Mentor junior engineers, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and helping grow the services organization - Translate business outcomes into implementation approaches, working closely with clients and internal teams to align technical work to context and goals
Requirements - Four to six or more years leading integration teams and architecting enterprise solutions - Hands-on experience with MuleSoft connectors across systems such as Salesforce, SAP, databases, and other common endpoints - Working knowledge of on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployment configuration - Exposure to Java and ETL concepts, with preferred experience in Salesforce development or configuration - Demonstrated ability to architect solutions within mixed teams of clients, contractors, and internal staff - MuleSoft Developer Level 1 (Mule 4) certification
Nice to have - MuleSoft Certified Architect credential - Prior experience applying design patterns for MuleSoft integrations connected to Salesforce
