Functional Lead, AI & Agentforce Delivery

Role overview

Lead customer-facing delivery of AI and Agentforce implementation projects, guiding solution design while managing the day-to-day work, client relationship, and delivery team. The role combines strategic advice on use cases and business outcomes with hands-on control of scope, schedule, project finances, and implementation progress.

Responsibilities

- Guide customers and delivery teams in defining AI use cases, desired business outcomes, and an appropriate solution approach. - Transition work from sales into delivery by reviewing statements of work and funding documents, defining project roles, and leading kickoff and onboarding. - Plan and track scope, schedule, and financials; handle estimates, change requests, and scope management to keep projects on course. - Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact and build productive relationships with stakeholders and project sponsors. - Lead or support regular status meetings, coordinate delivery team members, and manage implementation work through completion. - Document and report measured results for deployed solutions before project closeout, while applying relevant internal product and solution developments to delivery.

Requirements

- At least 5 years leading delivery of AI-related business solution implementations on Salesforce or AWS across the full project lifecycle. - Experience in professional services or consulting, and in leading delivery as a project manager or scrum leader. - Experience with estimation, sizing, statements of work, change orders, and scope management, including preparing work documents and change requests. - Salesforce Administrator certification and a Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant certification. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for audiences at different levels.
