Security Engineer 5 - Workforce Security

Role overview A senior security engineering role (level 5) focused on workforce security within a large, globally distributed technology organization. The position is remote within Minnesota, United States, and centers on protecting employees, identity systems, and the internal tooling they depend on every day.

Responsibilities - Design and operate safeguards for workforce identity, device, and access systems. - Investigate and respond to phishing, account takeover, and insider-driven threats. - Build detection and automation that scales across large user populations. - Partner with IT, HR, and engineering teams to improve core security controls. - Lead complex incident response efforts spanning multiple workforce systems.

Requirements - Substantial experience in security engineering with a focus on identity, endpoint, or workforce protection. - Proficiency with modern cloud and SaaS security tooling. - Strong programming or scripting ability for automation and detection work. - Track record of leading high-impact, cross-functional security initiatives.

Nice to have - Experience supporting a large remote or hybrid workforce. - Familiarity with zero-trust, SSO, MDM, and identity-governance platforms.
