Learning Experience Designer, Nebius Academy

Role overview An instructional design role on an international online learning platform focused on AI and cloud technologies. The position involves designing, building, and continuously improving courses for both individual learners and enterprise audiences, partnering closely with product managers, subject matter experts, and production teams.

Responsibilities - Participate in learning needs analysis and high-level course design alongside product managers and SMEs - Map learning outcomes across entire courses, individual modules, and individual lessons - Translate technical SME materials into clear, learner-friendly educational content - Design practice exercises, assessments, and supporting learning aids - Collaborate with the production team to develop visual and multimedia content - Audit existing courses for cognitive load, difficulty level, and goal alignment - Incorporate student feedback and SME recommendations into ongoing course improvements - Adapt materials for different audiences such as onboarding tracks or certification programs - Maintain a backlog of improvements and keep course documentation current

Requirements - At least 3 years of experience as an instructional designer or in a similar content development role - Demonstrated experience working with technical topics such as software engineering or data science - Deep familiarity with digital learning design frameworks and instructional principles - Ability to develop content across multiple formats including long-form reads, video, and assessments - Proficiency with modern authoring and creative tools such as Figma, HeyGen, and Supademo - Comfort using AI tools like ChatGPT to support research and content creation while applying critical quality review - High level of written and verbal English proficiency

Nice to have - Background in customer education or software documentation - Experience with certification programs from major cloud providers
