Role overview
Lead mobile product analytics and experimentation for a digital audio and content app, helping teams make decisions that grow audience reach, listening habits, and revenue. The work centers on advanced analysis of raw event data, rigorous testing, and translating findings into clear recommendations for product and editorial partners.
Responsibilities - Write, optimize, and quality-check complex SQL in BigQuery, including queries over raw event logs and nested data structures. - Analyze audience cohorts, behavioral patterns, and retention across app and web experiences. - Own the experimentation cycle: develop hypotheses, design and run A/B tests, and communicate results as product recommendations. - Deliver regular trend reporting and deep-dive analysis for product leaders, newsroom teams, and partner stakeholders. - Build self-service insight resources and coach colleagues and partners in SQL and effective data use. - Improve scheduled queries, reporting pipelines, and tracking quality; document metric definitions and analytical standards.
