Role overview
This role develops visual stories that bring a mission-driven multimedia organization’s identity and priorities to life. The Brand Designer, Video leads projects from concept through delivery, creating content for communications, fundraising, recruitment, events, executive messaging, employee engagement, and other strategic initiatives. The work combines creative direction, production, interviewing, field shooting, editing, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop video concepts, scripts, interview approaches, production plans, schedules, and creative treatments. - Produce and direct interviews and field shoots, capturing high-quality video and audio in studio and on location. - Edit, color-correct, mix audio, and prepare finished work for multiple platforms. - Manage graphics, captions, music licensing, footage organization, and other post-production needs. - Establish consistent visual quality, tone, pacing, accessibility, and storytelling standards across projects. - Coordinate freelancers, vendors, talent, equipment, logistics, and multiple concurrent productions.
Requirements
- Three to five years of professional video-production experience. - Demonstrated ability to produce, direct, shoot, and edit high-quality video content. - A portfolio showing documentary, institutional, branded, or mission-oriented storytelling. - Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and comparable professional editing tools. - Practical experience with cameras, lighting, audio recording, and field production. - Strong interviewing, storytelling, project-management, organization, collaboration, and judgment skills.
Nice to have
- Experience creating executive communications, fundraising content, or institutional storytelling. - Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, photography, or drone production. - Experience directing non-professional talent and conducting sensitive interviews. - Equivalent hands-on experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

This is a full-time, exempt, remote-permitted role based in the United States, with the option to work remotely, onsite, or in a hybrid arrangement subject to approval and available facilities. Occasional travel may be required. The listed U.S. salary range is $105,311.85–$114,518.47, with eligible employees offered health and wellness coverage, paid time off, disability and life insurance options, and retirement savings benefits.
