Remote job
Technical Product Manager, Integrations
Job details
About this role
Role overview
A remote, US-based opportunity for a Technical Product Manager to lead how an identity verification and account protection platform embeds inside the third-party systems customers already use. The platform runs as the identity check inside helpdesk tickets, HR onboarding flows, and collaboration tools, so growth depends on the quality of integrations into ITSM, HRIS, ATS, IdP, and collaboration platforms. The person in this role will own integration design end to end on a dedicated team, turning customer demand into buildable, well-researched connector plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in each target platform's extension model, including APIs, webhooks, UI surfaces, authentication, and app review processes. - Design verification flows that fit inside strict host constraints, deciding between embedded and redirect patterns, sync versus async behavior, and graceful failure handling. - Produce engineering-ready specifications covering platform-side APIs, target-side calls, deployment models, and build milestones, paired with admin and setup documentation. - Set integration priorities by weighing customer demand, sales signal, and partnership context, and own the marketplace and listing path for each connector. - Partner with engineering through build and launch, with go-to-market on positioning and enablement, and with partnerships on co-sell and listing relationships. - Use agent and AI tooling to compress research, spec writing, and documentation into repeatable workflows while staying accountable for accuracy.
Requirements
- 4+ years in technical product management, solutions architecture, platform or partner engineering, or a similar integration-design role. - Hands-on experience integrating with third-party enterprise platforms such as ITSM, HRIS, ATS, IdP, or collaboration tools, including at least one taken through a marketplace or app review process. - Technical fluency to read API documentation critically, design authentication flows, write specs engineers trust, and recognize when platform limits make an approach unworkable. - Demonstrated ability to design within fixed external constraints and still ship a workable solution. - Strong written communication, with integration plans treated as the primary deliverable. - Comfort owning a domain end to end at startup pace, with practical fluency in AI tooling and sound judgment about where it helps.
Nice to have
- Direct extensibility experience with platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Slack, Okta, Entra, ICIMS, or UKG. - Background in IAM, identity verification, fraud prevention, or security products. - Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and webhook-based integration patterns. - Prior engineering, solutions engineering, or enterprise IT experience, or experience building an integration program from a small base.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-first, US-based team with flexible schedules. - Quarterly in-person offsites for team connection. - Meaningful equity ownership. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. - Flexible paid time off and new computer hardware provided. - Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
