Senior Software Engineer II

Role overview Join a fintech engineering team focused on building technology that helps financial institutions deliver smarter, more intuitive money experiences to millions of end users. As a senior member of the engineering organization, you will lead the design and implementation of large-scale systems while coaching teammates and shaping engineering practices across the team.

Responsibilities - Write production-grade product and system development code, contributing hands-on across the full software lifecycle. - Participate in and lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, evaluating options among available technologies. - Drive and contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions, with attention to scalability, reliability, and security. - Conduct thorough code reviews that reinforce clean code, strong testing, and overall engineering quality. - Partner closely with Product Managers to translate customer needs into the simplest workable solutions. - Triage, debug, and resolve product and system issues by tracing root causes across hardware, network, and service layers. - Coach and support engineers, providing feedback that elevates design, implementation, and operational quality. - Maintain and update documentation and educational content to reflect product and program changes.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering or a closely related field. - 8 years of professional experience in software engineering or a related role. - 8 years of experience developing software in one or more programming languages with a strong grasp of data structures. - 8 years of experience developing software in one or more programming languages with a strong grasp of algorithms. - 5 years of experience testing, maintaining, and launching software products. - 3 years of experience in software design and architecture.
