About this role
Role overview Develop the data systems that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning features in a software platform. The role covers data pipelines, storage, access interfaces, and platform architecture, with close coordination across engineering, product, and analytics.
Responsibilities - Build and operate scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. - Design and optimize storage solutions, data models, and schemas. - Create APIs for data access and platform integrations. - Monitor data systems and maintain data quality, reliability, and security. - Contribute to platform architecture and share knowledge with teammates.
Requirements - At least three years of software engineering experience focused on data systems. - Experience with processing frameworks such as Spark or Kafka and with SQL. - Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and schema optimization. - Experience with cloud data services such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake. - Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java. - Understanding of data privacy and security; Europe-based for team collaboration.
Nice to have - Experience with data visualization tools.
