A fully remote senior project management role leading custom software development engagements from kickoff through delivery. The position blends technical fluency with client-facing communication, agile delivery, and cross-functional team coordination across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring outcomes land on time and within budget - Shape scope, deliverables, timelines, resource plans, budgets, and risk assessments with stakeholders - Act as the primary client liaison, maintaining transparent communication and managing expectations - Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning frontend, backend, design, and QA - Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews - Manage change requests, mitigate risks, and run post-project retrospectives to feed continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years managing software development projects in agile environments - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline - Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban - Technical background sufficient to discuss APIs, system design, and development workflows with engineers - Demonstrated success delivering projects on schedule and within budget - Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
