Senior Technical Project Manager

Role overview Lead custom software projects from early planning through delivery, balancing technical coordination, client communication, and project control. You’ll guide cross-functional teams in an agile environment, keep stakeholders informed, and help ensure work meets agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities - Agree project goals, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders and technical teams. - Build and maintain plans covering timelines, staffing, budgets, and delivery risks. - Coordinate frontend, backend, design, and quality assurance contributors. - Facilitate agile ceremonies and track progress, sharing regular status updates. - Manage risks, contingency plans, change requests, and scope adjustments. - Explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and use project reviews to improve delivery practices.

Requirements - At least five years managing software development projects in agile settings. - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field. - Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Scrum or Kanban. - Technical fluency to discuss system architecture, APIs, and development processes. - Experience communicating with clients and coordinating distributed teams across time zones.

Nice to have - Experience with project budgeting, resource planning, DevOps, or continuous deployment. - Consulting or agency experience, including work across multiple clients. - Vendor management or third-party integration experience.
