Lead Applications Developer

Role overview Lead application development work for an enterprise analytics team, translating business needs into reliable systems and software. The role spans analysis, design, development, testing, implementation planning, and technical guidance for users and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Assess complex operational or business problems and identify cost-effective system solutions that meet user needs. - Design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot applications; create logic and flowcharts, then code and test changes. - Configure system settings and plan and run unit, integration, and acceptance testing. - Prepare implementation and data-conversion plans, along with system and programming documentation for approval. - Recommend improvements to development, maintenance, and system standards, and help users through system changes when needed.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience. - At least eight years of relevant technical or business experience. - Ability to analyze business needs and turn them into technical requirements, system designs, and implementation plans. - Experience developing, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.

Nice to have - Certifications in analytics platform administration or project management, or in data models for reporting and analytics.
