Senior Software Engineer, Corporate Banking

Role overview

Build and operate secure, scalable services for corporate banking capabilities used by large enterprises and global financial institutions. The work focuses on the service layer supporting complex business banking needs, combining software delivery with architecture, cloud operations, and production reliability. This is a remote role for candidates based in Brazil, with intermediate English or better required.

Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain production services and microservices deployed on AWS. - Own work across planning, system design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. - Build and evolve cloud infrastructure through code and maintain automated deployment pipelines. - Create automated tests across unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end levels. - Monitor service health through logs, metrics, tracing, and alerts; investigate issues and support incident response. - Collaborate with product and engineering partners, contribute to code and architecture reviews, and document APIs and technical decisions.

Requirements - At least five years of professional software engineering experience in production environments. - Strong experience with Go or JVM-based languages, distributed systems, and cloud microservices. - Ability to debug distributed systems and make sound tradeoffs for performance, reliability, and maintainability. - Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge, and with relational data modeling. - Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus infrastructure-as-code and deployment tools such as Terraform or similar. - Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, observability, and robust testing; intermediate English or better.

Experience with mission-critical systems, financial services, payments or authorization systems, observability tools, AWS certifications, or AI-assisted development tools.
