Support Engineer (Web Scraping & Proxies)

Role overview A support engineering role with a focus on web scraping and proxy use cases. The position is remote and full-time, acting as a technical point of contact for users who rely on scraping pipelines and proxy infrastructure in their day-to-day work.

Responsibilities - Respond to technical inquiries about scraping setups, proxy usage, and access issues - Diagnose problems related to scraping pipelines, proxy performance, and connectivity - Reproduce reported issues and help escalate engineering fixes when needed - Document recurring patterns, workarounds, and troubleshooting guides - Communicate technical findings clearly to varied technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements - Experience in a customer-facing or technical support engineering role - Working knowledge of web scraping techniques and proxy-related concepts - Comfort reading code (such as a common scripting language) and HTTP-level debugging - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have - Familiarity with anti-bot countermeasures and access-failure patterns - Exposure to common scraping frameworks or headless browser tooling
