Senior Software Engineer - Credit Commercial Engineering

Responsibilities - Design and implement high-performance solutions for high-volume, high-velocity financial data and complex compliance landscapes. - Develop software and infrastructure for efficient, repeatable, automated releases. - Debug critical production issues across services and different stack levels. - Translate customer and product stakeholder input into technical decisions that deliver value quickly. - Lead design for medium-sized components and contribute to design of larger features. - Analyze data, identify patterns, and produce well-organized documentation for non-technical audiences.

Requirements - 5+ years of industry experience in software development using Java within service-oriented architectures. - Proven ability to design and deliver reliable, high-quality software outcomes. - Detail-oriented analytical mindset with clear written communication for non-technical stakeholders. - Comfort debugging production issues across services and system layers. - Eligibility to work remotely within Ontario or British Columbia, Canada.

Nice to have - Experience working on credit, payments, or other regulated financial systems. - Familiarity with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices that replace redundant manual work. - Background collaborating across multi-functional teams in a remote or distributed setup.
