Role overview Lead two complementary functions inside Business Technology: IT product management for internal enterprise systems, and IT software asset management. The position sits at the intersection of technology capabilities and business needs, bringing product discipline and operational rigor to how internal applications are managed, prioritized, and adopted. Reports to the Head of Business Technology and manages a team of product managers plus asset management specialists.
Responsibilities - Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and prioritized roadmap for internal business applications such as ERP, CRM, and HRIS. - Act as the proxy business owner for internal BT systems, managing backlogs of features, defects, and enhancements and partnering with business stakeholders on requirements. - Run the Plan and Commit demand management process, setting prioritization criteria based on strategic alignment, risk reduction, ROI, and operational impact. - Publish and maintain a transparent backlog showing queue status, effort estimates, and delivery timelines for stakeholders. - Forecast and allocate BT personnel and budget across the prioritized portfolio of projects and operational enhancements. - Partner with strategy and operations peers to establish governance mechanisms, including Steering Committees and product metrics tied to usage and business value.
Requirements - Significant experience leading IT product management or a closely related discipline inside a Business Technology organization. - Demonstrated ability to manage and develop product managers and asset management specialists. - Strong background in demand management, roadmap planning, and prioritization frameworks for internal enterprise systems. - Working knowledge of ERP, CRM, HRIS, or similar business applications. - Experience partnering with business owners, finance, and engineering stakeholders to align technology investments with outcomes. - Familiarity with governance practices such as steering committees, product metrics, and ROI analysis.
