About this role
Role overview A fully remote position for an early-career developer to build and maintain SAP integration solutions on an ABAP-based enterprise application platform. The work spans the full delivery lifecycle, from technical design and coding through testing, deployment, and ongoing post-release support.
Responsibilities - Modify software systems according to detailed specifications and technical designs. - Apply sound engineering principles to develop and test incremental code that is efficient, maintainable, and well documented. - Design, code, and test functional components of information systems against project requirements. - Produce project documentation and end-user training materials. - Generate database extracts to satisfy reporting and data requirements. - Coordinate with stakeholders and, when approved, recommend process and policy improvements.
Requirements - At least three years combining SAP S/4HANA PI/PO with modern API frameworks to enable system-to-system communication, data exchange, and integration. - Hands-on experience modifying software and designing functional components from project specifications. - Demonstrated ability to develop, test, and document incremental code. - Experience with database extracts, system baselines, and configuration management items. - Track record of working across large teams on complex, interconnected systems and data flows. - U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a Tier 2 background investigation prior to start; up to 10% travel.
Nice to have - SAP or other professional certifications. - Familiarity with UI frameworks, SAP development tools, and the SAP Business Technology Platform.
