This position leads the planning and execution of mission owner migrations into a defense-focused cloud environment, with continued governance responsibility once systems become operational. The work is fully remote and centers on coordinating between mission stakeholders and internal engineering teams to deliver complex IT infrastructure programs. Responsibilities
- Drive clear, frequent communication with mission owners and internal engineering stakeholders to maintain alignment and build durable working relationships - Facilitate technical exchanges that translate mission needs into concrete engineering plans and achievable outcomes - Track progress of cloud migrations and new environment builds, surfacing risks early and driving mitigations to protect schedule integrity - Organize, develop, and execute all required project documentation, supporting compliance and a smooth handoff into operational governance - Maintain and regularly distribute a comprehensive project schedule, ensuring milestones are tracked and delivered on time - Prepare status reporting and stakeholder updates through written deliverables and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution - Five or more years of progressively responsible project management experience overseeing technical or IT infrastructure initiatives - Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project or comparable enterprise-level scheduling tools - Foundational familiarity with cloud computing concepts and direct exposure to AWS environments, plus experience with cloud environment builds or mission application migrations - U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance
