Senior Forward Deployed Product Manager
Job details
About this role
Role overview Lead deployments and long-term outcomes for a small portfolio of major customers using an AI system that handles complex customer support. You will coordinate customer executives and engineering partners, shape what the product does for each account, and work hands-on to investigate, build, test, and ship improvements.
Responsibilities - Set deployment priorities and success measures with customer leaders and forward deployed engineers, then guide implementations through launch. - Own post-launch performance, adoption, retention, and growth across strategic accounts. - Investigate product issues and deploy fixes; identify further customer workflows that could be supported and build expansion cases. - Navigate customer procurement, security, and legal reviews. - Share recurring customer needs with Product, support important changes through delivery, and create playbooks and tools for other team members. - Coach colleagues and help improve how strategic accounts are managed as the organization grows.
Requirements - At least six years owning important customer outcomes in areas such as account leadership, product, consulting, or forward deployed work. - Ability to work directly with executives and technical teams, understand business priorities, and align people on decisions and success criteria. - Hands-on problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate, test, and ship product changes independently. - Strong commercial judgment: manage account value, identify growth opportunities, and connect product usage to customer outcomes. - Experience improving a team through coaching, management, or practical systems and processes.
Nice to have - Experience in fintech, healthcare, or another regulated sector; shaping roadmaps from customer evidence; or deploying AI products against measurable business outcomes.
Benefits and work setup The role offers flexible working hours and access to AI tools for day-to-day work. The hiring process includes informal conversations and a paid work trial of about two days. Company-wide in-person gatherings are held twice a year.
