Product Manager

Role overview A Product Manager role within an Operational Innovation group that owns the lifecycle of new field-operations initiatives from initial discovery through national rollout. The position works shoulder-to-shoulder with crews, supervisors, and operations leaders to design and ship processes and systems that meaningfully improve how field work gets done across a multi-region footprint.

Responsibilities

- Partner with operations leaders, supervisors, and crews to surface day-to-day challenges, define pain points, and shape practical solutions for field execution. - Translate field needs into concepts, workflows, user stories, and lightweight prototypes that can be quickly reviewed and refined with end users. - Coordinate with internal IT teams, developers, and consultants to keep builds aligned with operational realities and evolving feedback. - Lead user acceptance testing, acting as the final gatekeeper for field-readiness before each release. - Develop training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures that explain not just how a tool works but why the underlying process matters. - Manage the physical and digital rollout of new systems, including on-the-ground troubleshooting during critical phases, and provide post-implementation hypercare until workflows stabilize.

Requirements

- 3+ years of product management experience in construction, operations, fintech, or a closely related field. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; MBA or PMP certification is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to use AI-enabled tools, workflows, and rapid prototyping to connect systems into cohesive practical solutions. - Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into field-friendly language and back again. - Comfort working in both boardroom and active job-site environments, with up to 25% travel.

Nice to have

- 5+ years of construction industry experience in self-perform, mission-critical, industrial, electrical, or energy-related environments. - Familiarity with ERP systems such as Vista Viewpoint, field-ticketing software, custom-built operational tools, macro-enabled Excel, Power BI, AI app development, SQL, or other mobile and web-enabled toolsets.
