Developer Success Engineer

Role overview This position combines hands-on engineering with customer advocacy, focused on helping developers successfully build and ship real-time voice and AI agent applications. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success, where the goal is to unblock users, influence the product roadmap, and ensure developers can move smoothly from prototype to production scale.

Responsibilities - Support developers, teams, and companies building on the platform, both commercially and within the open community - Triage and file bugs, respond to support tickets, and fix issues directly in code when needed - Write sample applications and production-quality reference code to help users integrate successfully - Maintain and improve documentation, technical guides, and troubleshooting resources - Collaborate with community members on technical questions and platform issues - Follow up with customers regularly to ensure ongoing success after initial integration - Partner with sales, business development, and partnerships teams on strategy and customer conversations

Requirements - A practicing engineer with a demonstrated track record of building, shipping, and debugging production software - Comfortable navigating unfamiliar codebases to diagnose and resolve customer issues - Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt explanations for both technical and non-technical audiences - Curiosity and ability to learn new programming languages quickly and prototype solutions - Genuine passion for developer experience and helping others learn and succeed - Strong spoken and written English

Nice to have - Prior experience in a similar developer success or developer relations engineering role - Experience working with an active community of developers - Contributions to open source projects - Hands-on experience building with the platform itself - Multilingual abilities, given a global user base
