Developer Success Engineer

Role overview This role centers on supporting developers and teams building production applications on a real-time voice and AI agent infrastructure platform. It is a customer-facing engineering position focused on advocacy, technical unblocking, and product influence rather than pure systems architecture. The mission is to help external builders move smoothly from prototyping to production, while feeding customer insights back into the product and business.

Responsibilities - Work directly with developers, teams, and companies integrating the platform, both as paying customers and as community users. - Triage and file bugs, respond to support tickets, write sample and production-quality code, and keep documentation and technical guides current. - Collaborate with the open developer community on technical questions, examples, and troubleshooting. - Meet regularly with customers to follow up on adoption and ensure continued success on the platform. - Partner with sales, business development, and partnerships teams on strategy and support during customer conversations.

Requirements - A practicing engineer with a demonstrated track record of building, shipping, and debugging production software. - Comfort navigating an unfamiliar codebase to diagnose and resolve customer-facing issues. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt explanations for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Curious, fast-learning, and energized by ambiguous problems rather than discouraged by them. - Genuine customer focus, with an instinct to solve underlying problems rather than just closing tickets.

Nice to have - Prior experience in a similar developer-facing success or advocacy engineering role. - Background working with a developer community, including running office hours or forums. - Open source contributions of your own. - Hands-on experience building with the platform itself. - Fluency in additional languages, given a global user base.
