About this role
Role overview An AI Engineer position focused on building and deploying AI-powered solutions for industrial automation, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation at a global industrial technology company. The role combines Generative AI, machine learning, cloud engineering, and MLOps, with most solutions built on Microsoft Azure and integrated into enterprise and industrial systems across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Responsibilities - Develop and deploy Generative AI applications such as chatbots, copilots, and RAG systems using Azure OpenAI and large language models. - Build and maintain AI services and APIs on Microsoft Azure. - Design scalable data pipelines supporting model training and inference workflows. - Implement and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and automation use cases. - Containerize AI solutions with Docker and deploy them using cloud services such as AKS and Azure Functions. - Operate vector databases and retrieval systems, manage MLOps practices including monitoring and versioning, and stay current with AI/ML, cloud, and DevSecOps advances.
Requirements - Degree in Artificial Intelligence or a closely related field, with practical Azure experience. - Hands-on experience with Generative AI and machine learning technologies. - Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex. - Experience building advanced RAG systems, MCP/A2A protocols, and LLM observability tooling. - Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Kubeflow, Airflow, MLflow, Prometheus, Grafana, or NeuVector. - Fluent English and the ability to collaborate across multicultural, distributed teams; willingness to travel when projects require it.
Nice to have - Certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Certified Kubernetes Developer, or NVIDIA-Certified Associate.
