Senior Software Engineer

Role overview Design and build backend services that support a platform for developing, training, and deploying AI systems. This senior engineering role focuses on microservices and resource management, alongside tools that help provision and operate infrastructure. The position is based in San Francisco, with occasional telecommuting permitted within commuting distance of the reporting office.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services for managing platform resources. - Design and implement microservices for core platform capabilities. - Develop internal tools and automation for infrastructure provisioning. - Integrate services with cloud infrastructure and related platform components. - Contribute to reliable, secure, and scalable backend systems.

Requirements - Experience designing and implementing backend services and microservice architectures. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration. - Proficiency in one or more of Go, Python, or Java. - Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Understanding of networking, security, and scalability concepts.
