About this role
Role overview Operate, maintain, and optimize multiple platforms with a focus on improving system reliability, handling degraded services, and tightening internal production processes. The position is part of a long-term, collaborative engagement and is fully remote, full-time.
Responsibilities - Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS, and Cloudflare or Akamai. - Optimize system reliability and security through PrismaCloud or Twistlock, Rancher or EKS, and encrypted email tooling. - Maintain infrastructure using Docker, Ruby, and configuration management tools, including jumpbox environments. - Enhance monitoring and logging using New Relic, Splunk, and Tenable. - Document systems, processes, and configurations thoroughly for cross-team use. - Troubleshoot system-level issues and partner with cross-functional teams on resolution.
Requirements - U.S. citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or higher due to federal contract requirements. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles. - Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, and containerization. - Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Tenable, PrismaCloud or Twistlock, Akamai or Cloudflare, Rancher or EKS, Encrypted Email, Jumpbox, Docker, and Ruby. - Experience with network security, monitoring tools, and cloud-based infrastructure. - Strong customer service, client-facing skills, and clear oral and written communication.
Nice to have - Prior experience supporting federal or public-sector programs subject to Public Trust or higher clearances. - Background working on long-term, multi-platform operations engagements.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote, full-time position. - Annual salary of $120,000 to $125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
