About this role
Role overview Senior or Staff Software Engineer at a tech-driven equity management and financial reporting platform that helps private and public companies automate how they issue, track, and report on share-based compensation. You will design and build elegant, scalable systems alongside other engineers, product managers, and designers, replacing manual workflows with reliable productised ones.
Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable backend and frontend systems that power equity management, reporting, and adjacent workflows - Tackle complex financial data transformations and compliance requirements with robust, tested solutions - Write clean, maintainable TypeScript across the stack, including React on the frontend and tRPC, Node.js, MongoDB, and Temporal on the backend - Contribute to architecture discussions around scaling workflows, data models, and integrations - Participate in code reviews and help maintain engineering standards across teams - Mentor other engineers and collaborate closely with Product and Design on user-centric experiences
Requirements - 7+ years of professional software engineering experience - Excitement about the impact of equity on entrepreneurship and its real-world consequences for companies and employees - Comfort with complex financial data, compliance, or transactional systems - Pride in producing clean, well-tested code and a collaborative working style - Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional work - Ability to ship independently on impactful product features
Nice to have - Experience working on core domain logic, financial reporting, AI-assisted product surfaces, or tax and compliance features across jurisdictions
