Responsibilities

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - At least 6 years of professional backend software development experience; full-stack knowledge is a plus. - Strong understanding of modern web technologies and large-scale data systems. - Deep experience with TypeScript, Node.js, messaging queues such as AWS SQS, and MongoDB. - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with effective communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - A customer-oriented approach and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high-quality delivery.

Nice to have

- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask, along with Airflow, PostgreSQL, or NestJS. - Familiarity with artificial intelligence systems or products.

Benefits and work setup

- Hybrid work in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York, generally Tuesday through Thursday in the office; exceptional candidates may be considered for remote work in the United States or Canada. - Competitive salary, equity, medical/dental/vision coverage with premiums covered, 401(k), wellness, commuter, and FSA stipends. - Company off-sites are held twice a year.
