Cybersecurity Analyst

Role overview Help product and engineering teams reduce security risk in web applications and APIs. You’ll review implementations, assess vulnerabilities, and guide practical fixes for areas such as authentication, storage, and API access. The work calls for clear, prioritized recommendations that fit delivery timelines and can be acted on by both technical and non-security stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Conduct security reviews and vulnerability assessments of web applications and APIs. - Recommend fixes aligned with OWASP guidance and secure defaults. - Review authentication, row-level security, file upload, and secrets-handling patterns. - Write findings that explain risk and provide actionable next steps. - Help improve secure development lifecycle checklists used across projects.

Requirements - Practical application security experience focused on web and API systems. - Familiarity with common authentication and cloud application failure modes. - Ability to explain security risks and delivery tradeoffs in a clear, constructive way. - Strong writing and stakeholder communication skills.
