About this role
Role overview Contribute to ROS 2 software for robotics applications such as navigation, manipulation, simulation, driver development, and hardware acceleration. The internship also includes remote deployment and optimization work, with opportunities to learn through projects and collaboration with international customers.
Responsibilities - Develop robotics application software using C++ or Python and ROS tools. - Contribute to work involving navigation, manipulation, simulations, drivers, or hardware acceleration. - Help deploy code remotely and optimize its performance. - Take ownership of assigned tasks while learning new tools and applications.
Requirements - Strong C++ or Python skills and good ROS knowledge, including some ROS 2 experience. - Background in computer science, robotics, or electronics. - Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and work independently. - An exceptional record of contributions through college projects or the robotics community.
Nice to have - Open-source contributions. - Further ROS 2 experience. - Experience with FPGAs or GPUs.
