AI Automation Engineer

Role overview Design and deliver practical AI-driven automations that reduce repetitive work for client teams. Projects may include assistants, document handling, lead qualification, support triage, or internal copilots, with integrations across business systems. The emphasis is on reliable operation: workflows should be observable, evaluated, cost-aware, and able to hand work to a person when needed.

Responsibilities - Build workflows using language models, tool calling, retrieval, and policy checks. - Connect automations to CRM systems, email, messaging channels, operational databases, and internal tools. - Evaluate quality, response time, and operating cost, then improve workflows using structured evaluations. - Design clear failure handling and human handoff paths. - Package automations so teams can monitor them and request changes safely. - Document prompts, tools, and support procedures for delivery and operations teams.

Requirements - Hands-on experience with major language model APIs. - Experience delivering production automations rather than prototypes alone. - Working proficiency in Python or Node.js. - Familiarity with workflow platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier, or with custom orchestration. - Careful debugging habits and clear written communication.
