Job details
About this role
Role overview Own the applied AI opportunity across a business domain, from finding valuable problems to delivering solutions and measuring their results. This is a hands-on role: the engineer builds early, difficult solutions personally, then turns successful approaches into reusable tools and patterns that help a broader team deliver consistently. The work combines product judgment, technical execution, stakeholder partnership, and portfolio planning.
Responsibilities - Map workflows across an assigned business area, assess opportunities, and prioritize which AI solutions to build. - Take technically demanding or high-risk use cases from prototype through production, adoption, and measured impact. - Establish outcome measures before development and report on the cumulative value delivered across the domain. - Turn recurring solutions into reusable assets, such as integrations, evaluation tools, and workflow patterns. - Build AI agents with traces, evaluations, and human review points so that increased autonomy is supported by evidence. - Build trust with business leaders, deliver initial solutions directly, and shape a longer-term AI roadmap.
Requirements - The source describes a product-minded, hands-on builder who can work in an unfamiliar business area, earn stakeholder trust, and lead through shipped work. - Ability to move between fast prototyping, production delivery, adoption, and measurement of business outcomes. - Ability to identify reusable patterns across projects and help establish how a team delivers solutions. - Experience using frontier AI tools and an orchestration platform in day-to-day work.
