Role overview

A senior full-stack software engineer is needed to join a Growth Engineering team responsible for the surfaces that introduce new users to a large-scale digital asset platform and keep them engaged over time. The work sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and infrastructure, focusing on signup, identity verification, first-funding flows, and the engagement features that drive activation, retention, and monetization across web and mobile. The team operates in a remote-first, globally distributed model that emphasizes ownership, rapid experimentation, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Partner with product managers, designers, and analysts to identify growth opportunities and translate them into high-quality, data-driven engineering solutions. - Build reusable services and components that power marketing campaigns, onboarding, identity verification, and first-funding experiences across web and mobile. - Collaborate on distributed systems that handle large volumes of global traffic while maintaining performance and reliability. - Participate in design and architecture discussions, balancing user impact, scalability, and maintainability. - Use experimentation frameworks, analytics, and A/B testing to measure impact and iterate on features that influence user behavior. - Uphold and improve engineering standards, performance, and security practices across the stack.

Requirements

- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including building and maintaining production systems at scale. - Proficiency in full-stack development using one of TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or Ruby, paired with React or React Native. - Solid understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, debugging, and secure software design. - Familiarity with infrastructure and tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, or GitLab CI/CD. - A product mindset, with attention to how engineering work moves key growth metrics, not just code quality. - Ability to operate autonomously in a globally distributed, remote-first environment with asynchronous communication.

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, analytics instrumentation, or experimentation platforms. - Background in growth engineering, user funnels, lifecycle messaging, or conversion optimization. - Familiarity with data analysis tools or experimentation frameworks.
