Role overview A senior frontend engineering role within a dashboard team building a customer-facing product on a stack of Angular, Symfony/PHP, ElasticSearch, and MariaDB, deployed across major cloud providers. The position is fully remote and welcomes engineers who want to grow into full-stack work over time, while equally valuing those who choose to deepen their frontend expertise. You'll collaborate with backend and full-stack peers and engage directly with stakeholders on proposals and delivery.
Responsibilities - Design and develop new features for the customer dashboard - Improve frontend performance, focusing on speed, simplicity, and efficiency - Investigate and fix bugs raised through QA and from production reports - Plan and evaluate issues, owning topics end-to-end from idea through rollout - Integrate AI-assisted tools into the daily engineering workflow - Engage directly with stakeholders to shape and defend technical proposals
Requirements - Four or more years of professional experience building applications - Strong hands-on expertise with Angular 17 or newer - Comfort using AI-assisted tools to accelerate engineering work - A care for code quality, simplicity, and performance - Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across a distributed team
Nice to have - Experience with Symfony or another PHP framework - Familiarity with large-scale systems such as MariaDB, Redis, or ElasticSearch - Past experience writing crawlers or working on web scraping - BS, MS, or PhD in a scientific field, or equivalent professional experience
