Senior Software Engineer - Frontend - Consumer

Role overview Build consumer-facing web and mobile experiences for people buying, selling, and managing digital assets. This senior frontend role owns product work across the full lifecycle—from discovery and technical design to release, monitoring, experimentation, and iteration—and works closely with product, design, data, and mobile colleagues. The team values measurable outcomes, accessible and performant interfaces, and sound cross-platform engineering decisions.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain customer-facing features for web and mobile applications. - Own product changes from discovery and technical planning through launch, monitoring, and follow-up experiments. - Form hypotheses, run A/B tests, analyze results, and use findings to improve the experience. - Partner across product, design, data, and mobile engineering to keep experiences coherent across platforms. - Make and explain architecture and framework decisions, including choices around routing and client-server boundaries. - Maintain high standards for correctness, accessibility, performance, and testability; mentor colleagues and lead cross-platform initiatives.

Requirements - At least 6 years of professional software development focused on consumer web or mobile products. - Deep TypeScript and React expertise, with the ability to explain trade-offs in state management, data fetching, and component design. - Production React Native experience, including mobile app release pipelines. - Experience with Next.js App Router, React Server Components, and client-server boundaries. - Practical experience with A/B testing, feature flags, and experimentation frameworks. - Familiarity with WebSockets or server-sent events, testing tools such as Jest and Playwright, build and CI/CD tooling, and performance profiling. - Strong written and spoken English, including clear technical proposals, code review feedback, and explanations for non-technical partners. - An active AI-assisted development workflow and the judgment to review and take responsibility for generated code.

Nice to have - Experience in financial technology, digital assets, payments, or another high-trust consumer product.
