Frontend Engineer

Role overview Build the web experiences used to create customer-facing AI agents and the interactive features those agents present to customers. The work spans the agent-building flow and polished components such as service cards, forms, recommendations, and booking journeys, with close attention to mobile usability, speed, and accessibility.

Responsibilities - Improve the builder from first-time setup through publishing. - Create interactive components for published agents, including cards, forms, and booking flows. - Turn design concepts into responsive, accessible interfaces in collaboration with designers. - Extend a shared component library to keep experiences consistent. - Assess performance on real devices and improve load times and responsiveness.

Requirements - At least three years building production interfaces with React and TypeScript. - Strong CSS skills and a good eye for typography, spacing, and motion. - Experience creating accessible, responsive interfaces. - Ability to work from early-stage designs and make sound implementation decisions. - Regular use of AI coding tools.

Nice to have - Experience with conversational or chat interfaces. - Experience developing a design system.

Benefits and work setup Remote contract with flexible hours. Compensation starts at $4,000 per month.

As part of the application exercise, candidates are asked to create and publish an agent for a real business, add a custom customer-facing interface element, and explain its purpose and mobile behavior. The submission includes the published agent, code or files, and a short written or video walkthrough. There is no stated time limit.
