Role overview A healthcare technology company is hiring a Technical Engagement Manager to act as the strategic bridge between advanced data and AI capabilities and the real-world needs of healthcare customers. The role centers on end-to-end delivery of a proprietary AI engine, integrating large-scale patient and clinical data into leading healthcare organizations. It is a customer-facing, cross-functional position focused on turning ambiguous clinical and business workflows into concrete, measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities - Serve as the primary customer-facing technical lead, owning delivery milestones, requirements gathering, and hands-on data implementation for complex AI deployments. - Translate customer business objectives into technical solutions, scoping both standard and non-standard workflows to maximize value. - Champion the customer internally, ensuring their technical priorities, pain points, and compliance constraints are clearly understood by product and engineering teams. - Coordinate across product, engineering, data, customer success, legal, and compliance to keep delivery roadmaps aligned and unblock technical bottlenecks. - Build and maintain rigorous technical documentation, system hygiene, and source-of-truth project tracking to eliminate ambiguity. - Identify workflow gaps and design technical bridges, including opportunities for automation, scripting, and scalable data pipeline improvements.
Requirements - Strong foundational skills in SQL or similar query languages, data schemas, and data architecture concepts. - Practical understanding of AI/ML concepts plus comfort using generative AI tools to accelerate workflow automation and personal productivity. - Operational familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure, Snowflake data warehousing, and API-based integrations. - Hands-on experience automating data pipelines using tools such as Snowflake Tasks, Airflow, or scripting languages. - Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to both engineers and non-technical executives, including senior business leaders and customer stakeholders. - Demonstrated success coordinating multiple complex, multi-stakeholder projects with high accuracy and proactive communication.
