Remote job
Senior Product Manager, Growth
Job details
About this role
Role overview Senior Product Manager on the Growth team, owning a dedicated growth pod focused on user activation or product-led acquisition for a Canadian consumer fintech. The role is metrics-driven with direct P&L accountability, emphasizing rapid experimentation and end-to-end ownership of growth problems. It is a remote-first position suited to candidates comfortable with autonomy and high-velocity shipping.
Responsibilities - Own specific acquisition or activation KPIs and be accountable for moving them through experiments and initiatives. - Design, ship, and iterate on growth tests on a weekly cadence, maintaining a rolling backlog with clear hypotheses and success criteria. - Build business cases grounded in CAC and LTV modeling, financial analysis, and quantitative research to defend investment choices. - Lead a cross-functional pod of engineering, design, data, and marketing colleagues aligned to a single growth mission. - Diagnose funnel drop-offs and onboarding friction, then ship product changes that reduce them. - Identify and scale compounding growth loops rather than relying on linear funnels. - Present growth strategy, experiment results, and roadmap decisions to executive leadership during quarterly reviews.
Requirements - Three to five or more years in product management, with at least two years focused on growth, acquisition, activation, or product-led growth at a consumer or fintech company. - Documented track record of moving concrete growth metrics such as conversion funnels, referrals, onboarding flows, or acquisition loops. - Strong data skills, including the ability to write SQL, design statistically rigorous experiments, and reason in CAC and LTV terms. - Demonstrated ability to ship multiple experiments per sprint and iterate without over-engineering. - Experience leading cross-functional pods or squads and aligning them around a single metric. - Strong strategic communication skills, including executive presentations and compelling written business cases. - Active daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity for analysis, writing, research, and prototyping.
Nice to have - Experience at a Canadian fintech or other regulated financial services organization. - Background with product analytics, martech, and BI platforms that power growth experimentation. - Hands-on work with A/B testing platforms such as Eppo or Optimizely and with experimentation governance. - Training in behavioral economics, incentive design, or conversion optimization. - Experience with KYC and onboarding optimization in regulated fintech contexts, and with scaling product-led acquisition.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first setup with flexible hours and asynchronous collaboration norms. - Salary range of 160,000 to 200,000 CAD per year, determined by market data, technical assessment, experience, and internal equity.
